North Sea Observatory

MBJ Construction was proud to be a part of this project, working with the Gelder Group on this architectural challenging North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point Beach, Chapel St Leonards.

The North Sea Observatory offers all year round facilities for families and those enjoying walks along the beach. The Observatory includes a cafe, public toilets, and exhibitions.

The Observatory has fantastic views of the dunes, beach and North Sea and is the UK’s only purpose designed marine observatory.
